The 13th COSME Gender Economics Workshop (GEW) will take place on May 28-29, 2020 at Ramón Areces Foundation in Calle Vitruvio, 5, Madrid, Spain. COSME is a subcommittee of the Spanish Economic Association that evaluates and promotes the situation of women economists in academia. The workshop aims to provide researchers with a forum for presenting and discussing research on gender economics.
Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcome. Preference will be given, conditional on quality, to authors who have not presented in the last meeting. The workshop will include about 10 presentations. The keynote speakers will be Catalina Amuedo-Dorantes (UC Merced) and Andrea Ichino (European University Institute).
Please use this link for submissions before January 29, 2020. Only one submission per author is permitted. Decisions of acceptance or rejection will be sent out no later than March 2, 2020.
There are no registration fees, but participants should cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. There may be limited funds to partially cover accommodation expenses of some participants. Please, let us know if you require any funding.
There are a limited number of places for non-presenters. Please, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request attending the workshop. To foster the desired interaction we ask that participants stay for the entire duration of the workshop.
