VENUE

The venue for the XXXIX Simposio de la Asociación Española de Economía is the Campus Universitat Illes Balears (Jovellanos Building) located at Ctra. Valldemossa km 7,5 Palma de Mallorca. In addition to that, the Jovellanos Building is five minutes walking distance from the train station at the campus.

Please, notice that the Campus is 7.5 km from Palma de Mallorca, in the countryside. Participants should be aware that it takes at least 30 minutes to reach the campus by train or by bus from Plaça Espanya. Most of the hotels are at a maximum of 10 minutes walking distance from Plaça Espanya. Hotels at Passeig Marítim are at a 30 minutes walking distance from Plaça Espanya. The local committee of SAEe 2014 will not provide shuttle bus service to Plaça Espanya from hotels.

In order to get to UIB you can take the subway (frequency every 15-30 minutes) until the last metro station or the bus Line 19 departing from Plaça Espanya.

SOCIAL EVENTS

The official reception will be at Es Baluard on Thrusday evening. The Conference Dinner will be at Es Molí de's Compte on Friday evening, December 12. Shuttle buses to Es Molí de's Compte will depart from the TIB-CONSORCI DETRANSPORTES DE MALLORCA at 20.50. The buses will return to the same place (TIB-Consorci de transportes de Mallorca), after the conference dinner.
