UPDATE ON SAEe Meeting 2020

In the light of the current evolution of the COVID19 situation, the Spanish Economic Association has decided to celebrate the SAEe Meeting 2020 totally on-line. This will be a much smaller meeting uniquely devoted to graduate student’s presentations. There will also be a round table devoted to Economic Aspects of COVID-19 and a lecture on On-line Education. SAEe 2020 will take place on 10-11 December 2020.

The schedule of this on-line meeting will be the following:

The program will be published at the beginning of November. The round table on Economic Aspects of COVID-19 will be held with the participation of Milena Almagro (New York University), Diego Puga (CEMFI) y Victor Ríos-Rull (University of Pennsylvania). Stefania Paredes-Fuentes (University of Warwick) will deliver the Education Committee Lecture “On-line Education”.

The registration will be at http://www.asesec.org/simposio/registration.html from 1 October. Presenting authors have to register before 30 October to be included in the program. The registration fees will be the following:

(*) Fundación Ramón Areces and the Spanish Economic Association award 50 and 30 grants, respectively, to PhD. students who are presenting a paper at the SAEe.

The conference registration includes access to the virtual rooms where the on-line sessions will take place and certificate of attendance. Every registered attendant becomes member of the Spanish Economic Association.
