CALL FOR PAPERS

We would like to invite all interested researchers to submit high quality papers in Industrial Organization and related fields. Authors may submit more than one paper, but only one accepted paper will be allowed per presenter.

All papers must be written in English, and the submitted files must be in PDF format, with a maximum size of 3MB.

The deadline for paper submissions is 18 May 2018. Authors will be notified about the status of their papers by 8 June 2018.

Interested researchers must submit their papers by means of the online submission platform available at

IMPORTANT: Authors of accepted papers should register by 15 July 2018 in order to have their papers included in the final conference program. As it is traditional in the Jornadas, presenters should be willing to act as discussants of a paper in the conference.

Young Economist Prize

A Young Economist Prize will be awarded for an exceptionally original and high-quality paper written by a young researcher, who has completed his/her PhD after December 31, 2013. In the case of papers with more than one author, this criterion must be satisfied by all co-authors. If you wish to be considered for the award, please send an email to calzada@ub.edu, indicating in the subject “YEP prize award candidate”. The winner of the YEP will be selected by the scientific committee of the Jornadas and announced during the conference. The prize includes an honorarium of 1000€.
