| 2 May | Submissions begin for both Contributed and PhD Students Sessions |
| 26 June | Deadline for submissions |
| 5 September | Deadline for submissions to the SAE PhD. School |
| 12 September | Decisions on submissions. PhD students selected for a fellowship will be notified. Registration begins. |
| 15 October | Deadline for selected students to confirm they accept the fellowship. This will be done by registering to present at the SAEe |
| 26 October | Deadline for registration of presenting authors |
| Deadline for registration at a reduced rate | |
| 16 November | Deadline for registration at a general rate |
