Arriving to Girona
Only 1 hour from the city of Barcelona and 40 minutes from France, the province of Girona, with a clear Mediterranean character, is bordered to the east by the 214 km-long Costa Brava and has a rich cultural and artistic heritage. The province is accessible from anywhere in Spain and Europe, by plane, train, road or sea.
With the arrival of high velocity train service (AVE/Avant) it is possible to travel from the city of Girona to Barcelona in 38 min.

From Barcelona-El Prat airport to Girona.
Barcelona-El Prat airport to Barcelona-Sants train station: Barcelona-El Prat airport is connected by train with the Barcelona-Sants train station (commuter train line R2 North). The airport has two terminals, T1 and T2, and the airport’s train station is closer to the T2. Outside the station there is a free shuttle bus (BusTransit T1-T2) to transfer passengers to the T1. The train from the T2 terminal to Barcelona-Sants departs every 30 minutes (the first at 5:42 am and the last at 23:38 pm) and the trip lasts 19 minutes.
