SYMPOSIUM

OF THE SPANISH ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION

The Symposium brings together experts in all areas of economic research every December.
This year’s SAEe is organized by the University of Salamanca.

ABOUT US

Its activities include the organization of an annual congress, the Symposium of the Spanish Economic Association (SAEe), the publication of the journal SERIEs-Journal of the Spanish Economic Association and the co-organization of the European Job Market for young PhDs in Economics together with the European Economic Association and the Royal Economic Society. It also has committees on the Situation of Women in Economics (COSME), on Teaching in Economics, and on the Dating of the Spanish Economy.

BENEFITS OF BEING A MEMBER OF AEE

  1. Participate in the Symposium of the Spanish Economic Association, an annual congress whose main objective is to present research work in progress to the rest of the research community.
  2. Receive information about the different activities of the association.
  3. To attend with voice and vote the meetings of the General Assembly.
  4. To elect or be elected to hold management or representative positions.
  5. To be informed about the composition of the governing and representative bodies of the association, its state of accounts and the development of its activity.

SERIEs- Journal of the Spanish Economic Association is the result of the merger between the two most important academic journals in Spain in the area of economics: Spanish Economic Review (SER) and Investigaciones Económicas (IE).
