CLAUDIA GOLDING : WOMEN AND THE LABOR MARKET, A HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE

On December 11, 2023, a round table in honor of the 2023 Nobel Laureate in Economics, Claudia Goldin (Harvard University), was held in the Assembly Hall of the Ramón Areces Foundation. The round table was entitled “Nobel Laureates in Economics 2023. Claudia Goldin: Women and the Labor Market, a Historical Perspective” and was organized by the Ramón Areces Foundation and the Spanish Economic Association (AEE).

On November 15, 2022, a round table discussion was held at the Ramón Areces Foundation’s Assembly Hall in honor of the 2022 Nobel Laureates in Economics, Ben S. Bernanke (The Brookings Institution), Douglas W. Diamond (University of Chicago) and Philip H. Dybvig (Washington University in St. Louis). The round table was entitled “Nobel Prizes in Economics 2022. Financial crises and the role of banks” and was organized by the Ramón Areces Foundation and the Spanish Economic Association (AEE).

On November 19, 2020, the Ramón Areces Foundation and the Spanish Economic Association organized in honor of the Nobel Laureates in Economics 2020, Paul R. Milgrom (Stanford University) and Robert B. Wilson (Stanford University), a round table entitled “Nobel Laureates in Economics 2020: Auctions: Basic Science at the Service of Public and Private Management”. In this round table, some of his main scientific contributions were discussed. The event was presented by the First Vicepresident of the Spanish Economic Association, Luisa Fuster (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid).
